UFC 200 recap

UFC 200 is now in the books with shocks around the world that Amanda Nunes has defeated Miesha Cupcake tate to become the new UFC Women's bantamweight champion, This coming after Miesha just won the title off of Holly Holm at UFC 196. Now people are talking that is this a sign that UFC needs its prodigal daughter to return to her throne being Ronda Rousey? I believe that it might be true because UFC was more marketable when Ronda was champion but that was pre holly holm lost. Now how is she going to be in the octagon since she has a lost in her career? I think when the time comes for Rousey to return she will be a dominate beast that she once was.

Jose Aldo defeated Frankie Edgar to become the Interim featherweight championship, this was a fight that I saw Aldo winning from when they announced it. So I was happy to see that he won the championship, now I can’t wait to see when the current champion at Featherweight comes back for the title unification bout.

Anderson Silva you are the real MVP in the eyes of Dana White and Daniel Cormier after the Jon Bones Jones suspension. This bout was ground and pound, it went the distance with the champion coming out on top, but could their be a rematch with a full training camp with the both of them in the future?

Cain Velasquez proved to Travis Browne that he is a future legend in the octagon with a first round knockout in two minutes and 36 seconds. Cain simply proved that he is out to get the victory it doesn’t have to be slow and methodical it can be quick and painful.

Now the fight that most fans were shocked to see happen in the first place, Brock Lesnar returns to the UFC with a victory over a top 10 ranked fighter in the heavyweight division, with one fight he stakes claim at quite possibly contending for the UFC heavyweight championship again, Could WWE profit off of Brock being UFC Champion and WWE Champion at the same time that is the question I know Wrestling and MMA fans would want to know? In my opinion, Yes it would be a smart business move to have Brock be UFC and WWE champion that way you can cross promotions between companies set up fights for brock through fan interaction by the fighter calling out brock. Now we will have to stay tuned to see what the companies and brock want to do when it comes to Brock fighting in the UFC.
