Pre Show: Jack Swagger vs Baron Corbin

Reason: this would be a match that could help get Corbin going towards him being a challenger The Miz for the IC title later in the night.

Opening Match: Apollo Crews vs Kalisto

Reason: Kalisto and Apollo can show the smackdown fans they can do what the raw cruiserweights can do in the ring because they are both fast and lucha base style that can be a show opener that the fans would enjoy.

Tag Team Championship Match

Ladder Match

One Man Gore (Heath Slater and Rhyno) vs The Uso vs American Alpha( Jason Jordan and Chad Gable)

Reason: This ladder match could be a match that the fans wouldn’t expect to be a good match seeing how American Alpha have never been in a match of this caliber. I think this would be a way to get the titles on the usos without making American Alpha weak, this would be the perfect way to set them up in a feud for the belts.

Intercontinental Championship Match

Miz’ Open Challenge

The Miz vs Daniel Bryan Choice (Baron Corbin)

Reason: The Miz and Maryse come out and Miz cuts a promo on how he defeated Dolph Ziggler to retain his championship and that he was going to hold an open challenge which would cause Daniel Bryan to come out and say he has an opponent for The Miz to defend his IC championship and Baron Corbin theme hits which would shock the fans and the Miz.

Tag Team Match

Randy Orton and a Mystery Partner (Luke Harper) vs Erick Rowan and Bray Wyatt

Reason: seeing how Luke Harper is cleared for in ring action, this would be the perfect way for him to return being the decoy partner for Randy Orton just to turn on Orton during the hot tag and align with his brothers in the Wyatts.

Carmella vs Nikki Bella

Reason: Carmella has been pulling a page out of AJ Styles playbook by beating up Nikki Bella like AJ did with John Cena, this would be a perfect way to set this to be a number one contenders match for the smackdown’s women’s championship to face the winner of Becky and Alexia.

Alexa Bliss vs Becky Lynch vs Naomi vs Natalya

Reason: Naomi and Natalya are the jealous veterans that are being tired of being overlooked when it comes to championships chances so they complain that it's not fair that Alexa Bliss just comes in from NXT to get a chance at Becky’s championship.

WWE World Championship

No DQ match

Dean Ambrose vs AJ Styles

Reason: If it is a Championship rematch then it should only be the current champion and the former champion not a triple treat featuring the man the current champion defeated at Summerslam, Yes John Cena was added to this match for some weird reason. If they wanted John Cena involved they could have made him the special guest referee. But WWE wanted it a triple threat match. But this is my opinion of what WWE should have done.

Wednesday Wrestling Roundup

What an episode of NXT this week was, it started out with a vicious attack by Samoa Joe after he called out NXT champion Shinsuke Nakamura and said once he was medically cleared to fight he was going to challenge him for the title again since he already had a rematch clause in his contract. Then you had a women's division match where Liv Morgan faced off against a local enhancement talent named Rachel Fazio, then Liv surprise people by challenging Asuka for the women’s championship, to the comments of Asuka clearing out the women’s division of NXT.

Dream match alert Drew Gulak vs Hideo Itami was a match that i was excited to see happen in NXT, I wish WWE would sign Gulak so that can be a feud that could lead to a  NXT championship feud. This match was hard hitting how i like dream matches to be, But in the end I knew that Hideo Itami would come out victorious by hitting the Go To Sleep. Then you saw pure domination happen on NXT when The Authors of Pain lead by legendary manager Paul Ellering as they took on two local talent that didn’t even have their names on the show this week that how fast and brutal the beatdown was.

Tye Dillinger talked about how he is still a Perfect Ten after his rough summer was with losing some matches and winning some matches. The main event of the week was The Glorious one himself Robert Roode facing off against the Latin Sensation No Way Jose. that match took me by Surprised because I thought Jose would have gone back to how he was before his feud with Austin Aries, but no that feud evolved him into a different side of him in the ring and that side was out during his match against Roode where he almost picked up the victory, but he lost to Roode’s Glorious Impaler DDT.

Yesterday was also the finals of the WWE CWC, we saw TJ Perkins win the Cruiserweight Classic and he became Cruiserweight Champion, that was an historic event because TJ Perkins was also in Impact Wrestling where he held the X Division championship which is an equivalent to the cruiserweight style championship.

My reaction to the finals of the CWC was that Kota Ibushi and Zack Sabre Jr who people said that were the final two just proved that they were wrong when TJ Perkins and Gran Metalik were the final two of the tournament.

Raw Review

Monday Night Raw was turned into the Kevin Owens Show because Kevin Owens is the WWE Universe Championship. Kevin Owens celebration was cut short by Seth Rollins who was bashing Stephanie McMahon. This is going to be a money feud when Triple H starts to interject himself back into the picture. Seth said that Kevin was the prodigal son when Kevin was signed. Bayley defeated Charlotte when Dana Brooke invertedly interfered in the match to help Charlotte to get a roll up while Bayley reverse the pin sending Charlotte into punching Dana and which lead to a Bayley to Belly suplex for the victory. Now this is going to be interesting seeing how it appeared that Bayley was going to be the number one contender heading into Clash of Champions.

We have had our squash match central when Nia Jax,Braun Strowman, Darren Young, and Bo Dallas all winning their matches in quick fashion, but the Strowman was by count out when he defeated Sin Cara. Plus you also had the comedy segment which was Gallows and Anderson making fun of the new day with the old day. Shining Star shocked the world by defeating Enzo and Cass which shocked me because i thought this was going to be a match that was going to be an easy victory for the certified G’s Enzo and Cass.

Chris Jericho vs Seth Rollins was a match that was a dream match that I was happy that I got to witness, but the interesting thing about the match could this be leading to a shield reunion against JeriKO. Kevin Owens was watching backstage while watching the match that Seth Rollins picked up the victory.

Sasha Banks teased a retirement on Raw, while Dana Brooke came out to say that she was going to end Sasha Banks, which to the surprise of everyone that she was going to be leaving but she hit the Banks Statement on Dana which she told Dana the bad news was for Charlotte which means that she was going to be ready for her rematch at Clash of Champions. So what does this mean for BAYLEY now? Could Sasha win which could set up the Sasha and Bayley feud again.

Kevin Owens was shocked after his win against Sami Zayn when Roman Reigns came out to get into Owen's face which lead Chris Jericho to come out and Mick Foley to make a match if Reigns wins he will be added to the title match at Clash of Champions, but after the show the fans saw Seth saving Roman from JeriKO.

Overall i’m hyped for Clash of Champions, since only three titles will be on the line, since Rusev is on his honeymoon with is Ravishing bride Lana. So could Clash of Champions be the night were the New Day falls, and Charlotte is dethroned by the Boss again could Seth reclaim or will it be a triple treat and what other matches are going to be on the card for Clash of Champions.

Wensday Night Wrestling Preview

This Week continues the second round of the CWC on the WWE Network where you have one half of DIY Johnny Gargano going up against TJ Perkins while Rich Swann will be going up against Lince Dorado. You have the modern day Dean Malenko in Zack Sabre Jr going up against Drew Gulak.

I am actually hyped to watch these matches because i want to see how their styles in the ring will mesh in their matches. Here are my predictions for this match up in this round of the CWC.

TJ Perkins will defeat Johnny Gargano, because if you have watched NXT and Takeover you know he is focusing on tag team wrestling. So him moving on in the tournament is pointless now that they are feuding with The Revival for the NXT tag team championships. TJ Perkins is someone that i have followed since he was in impact Wrestling as Manik, i have also watch the WWE vs TNA feud that happened through evolve wrestling where Johnny Gargano teamed up with Perkins too faced EC3 and Drew Galloway.

Zack Sabre Jr is going to defeat Drew Gulak, even thought i would like to see an upset here and have Drew moving on to the next round. But everyone is wanting a Kota Ibushi vs Zack Sabre Jr finals.

Rich Swann vs Lince Dorado, this is a toss up match for me because i love both of these guys in ring work while they are on the independent scene. Lince is a member of the Lucha World Order which also another wrestler that has been on NXT which is Mr.450 if you don’t know who that is google him.

Now on to NXT we are having the aftermath of Takeover Brooklyn 2 what going to happen between Hideo Itami and Austin Aries is No Way Jose still going to be involved in that some how. What about Robert Roode and Andrade Cien Almas, what is going to happen after their match could Andrade want more of the Glorious one or will the Glorious one have a Glorious celebration. What is instore for the tag team champions the Revival after their victory of DIY. will the Authors of Pain get involved now or will ™ 61 get into the title picture.

What is instore for the women’s champion asuka now that she has defended her championship against Bayley in Brooklyn, who is going to be the one that challenges for her championship next. Could it be Ember Moon who was stunning in her debut with that Corkscrew Moonsault stunner.

Smackdown Review

Smackdown is getting set up for their first brand exclusive network show called backlash. Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan announced new tag team and women's championships that will be crowned at Backlash.

In My opinion I actually like the new titles that smackdown has because they are a different colors of the versions that Monday Night Raw has currently. It looks like it is setting up for American Alpha to become the first tag team champions on Tuesday night Smackdown.

As for the women’s championship it looks like it could be on the waist of Nikki Bella, which i would be glad to see have it, but there's one women on that smackdown roster i think would benefit from a title reign and that is Natalya. Let Natalya be the one that is the first Smackdown women’s champion start feuds with the younger talent to help them get over with the crowd. For example of getting over with the fans Carmella turned heel by attacking Nikki Bella during an interview on Smackdown and then she attacked her during an interview on smack talk. That looks like a feud in the making to set up for the women’s division title tournament.

WWE is setting up a feud that will be money for backlash and that is a feud between the eater of worlds and the legend killer randy orton. I actually like this idea because this will give Bray Wyatt something on television sink his teeth into and will give Randy Orton something to go off his Brock Lesnar match at Summerslam that they actually used as starting point for this program.

AJ Styles defeated Dolph Ziggler to become the new number one contender to face Dean Ambrose for the WWE Championship at Backlash.

I am all for a AJ Styles vs Dean Ambrose program, but what are they going to do with Dolph, are they going to put him in the IC title picture which would be a step down. But their could be a way that Dolph can still be relevant and be in the picture, he cost AJ his shot at Dean Ambrose to where they make it a triple threat match for the championship I wouldn’t mind seeing the Miz hold two championships again by winning the tag team titles with Dolph Ziggler and they could be called the Awesome Showoffs.

The Miz and Daniel Bryan Smack Talk Segment Review

Last night on WWE Smack Talk The Miz went off in what people are saying is a shoot promo while some are doing a work shoot promo after what Daniel Bryan said about him being a cowardly wrestler which caused the Miz to snap on the show after the show aired The Miz’s wife Maryse took to twitter to press the issue saying Hero’s stand up for what they believe in and cowards walk away.

This is the best promo work the miz has done on WWE television weather or not this was scripted work shoot or this was real, by the look on his face it look like he was legit furious at Daniel Bryan. I hope WWE does run with this into a storyline where the Miz gets to prove that he is not a coward and a chance to prove Daniel bryan wrong. I remember when the Miz was on the show MTV Real World through his transition into Pro Wrestling through the show tough enough he has came along way from the man that he was on that show. Now he has been a WWE Champion, US Champion, Tag Team Champion on multiple occasions, and he is the current IC champion. So he is among the wrestlers that are in the Grand Slam Champion category in the history of the company, Ironically when Daniel Bryan first came into the company The Miz was his pro mentor on NXT when it was still a show about finding the next superstar not that glorious brand that it is today.

Smackdown Preview

Daniel Bryan teased that their will be two Smackdown Exclusive Championship, People are wondering what titles are they going to be. Some are thinking the Women's and Tag Team Championships.

Here is what I would like to have happened instead. They need to have the women's championship be a dual brand championship as well as the tag team championships. I would like to see the WWE bring a TV title and European Championship to Smackdown Live instead of doing the same old tag team and women's championship like they have done in the past with the roster shakeups.
