The card for WWE
battleground is set to look like the right way to start the WWE brand split off
with a bang, WWE has confirmed that they will still have the shield triple
threat world championship match despite Roman’s suspension. Now let’s talk
about the chance of adding more matches to the card. We could see multiple
women’s matches on the card because we have yet to see Sasha Banks vs Charlotte
for the women’s championship, Sasha and Charlotte are set up to battle for the
WWE women’s championship. Charlotte made history when she became the first NXT
woman to win the NXT women’s championship, WWE Divas Championship, and now
winning the WWE women’s championship at wrestlemania.
then you also have Becky
Lynch vs Natalya battling it out in a feud that has been blossoming over the
weeks. With Natalya turning into the angry vet in the women’s division while
Becky Lynch is the new era talent so to speak you can say when she came up from
nxt when the whole revolution with the women started with an simple hashtag on
twitter being #givedivasachance to trend worldwide for WWE writers and creative
staff to take notice start give the women in the company better storylines, now
we have the women’s championship back since the divas championship debut when
the draft split was going on at the time which merged the women’s championship
with the divas championship when Melina Perez and Michelle McCool battled for
it. Now could there be talks of bringing back another women’s championship if
they want to focus the woman on both shows.
Something that I wish WWE would do if they
really want to show the talent of the company is to have an all women show to
showcase them so they don’t become lost in the shuffle that is Raw and
Smackdown. Then you can also have the NXT women compete on this show while
still being on NXT. I would love to see storylines featuring the four
horsewomen of NXT against the vets of the woman’s division like the Nikki
Bella, Natalya, Alicia Fox, and Tamina that would be a feud i would love to see
because it something that people wouldn’t be used to since we saw the four
horsewomen in different types of teams except bayley while she was still in
NXT.
A match that will steal the
pay per view will be Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn, this match is the feud that has
been on the rise since the days of Ring of Honor and PWG. Kevin Owens and Sami
was the feud in NXT that was golden before the Samoa Joe and Sami Zayn feud
leading up to the series of matches to find out who Finn Balor was going to
face for the NXT championship at the Takeover London show. Now we get to see who
actually the better wrestler between the two of them is. This match will be the
match of the night I believe to be better than the shield triple threat match.
Could John Cena, Enzo and
Cass vs The Club be a match that will get people to talk about this match pass
battleground, could this match set up enzo and cass for a future tag team
titles at summerslam weather the champions are The New Day or the Wyatts? John
Cena, AJ Styles have been on a road to face against each other since AJ Styles
signed with the company. I have wished for this feud since they banter these
two had on Instagram sharing each other picture.
Speaking of The Wyatts and the new day, this
feud is golden because they are amazing on the microphone. Xavier Woods facial
expressions when Bray Wyatt was speaking about the New Day. Could we see Xavier
pulling a Seth Rollins and killing the New Day to join the Wyatts. Xavier woods
is the one that could be the wild card if this match is happened to be booked
for Battleground.
Finally we have the main event that Shield fans
have been waiting for since the breakup which was caused by Seth Rollins
joining The Authority. Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins vs Roman Reigns is going to
be a match that I want to see if it will be better than their first match in
Florida Championship Wrestling pre NXT era of WWE developmental program. Could
WWE hotshot the championship back on Roman Reigns to push this redemption
storyline that they are working since his suspension? I think WWE will keep the
championship around the waist of Dean Ambrose, since the ratings have gone up
since he has won the championship at Money in the Bank at what I like to call
the Sin City Heist.
